Build a School Program

Continuing La Rose Noire’s commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility Program, numerous activities have been done to help the underprivileged in nearby communities. One of these life-changing initiatives is the “Build A School Program” aimed at constructing school buildings, classrooms, and facilities for indigent school children. La Rose Noire believes that providing a comfortable and conducive environment for learning should not only be for a privileged few.

The first school built under this program is Calumpang Elementary School in the suburbs of the province of Pampanga. 180 students from Grades 1 to 6 benefitted from this. Overwhelmed by the success of this project, La Rose Noire searched for a second school to renovate and build – Dungan Elementary School in Mabalacat Pampanga was chosen. Renovation and upgrade of its facilities, construction of a new building of classrooms and a multi-function hall were built. Dungan Elementary School has now transformed into a bigger and better school for 90 students in the community.

La Rose Noire also shares its resources in the community by constant donation of bread to various charities, giving livelihood training courses and granting scholarships to the less fortunate who cannot afford to go to school.

One of the charities La Rose Noire has been helping for quite some time now is the Little Sisters of the Poor in Hong Kong and Philippines. Little Sisters of the Poor is a haven for impoverished elderly, founded by Saint Jeanne Jugar in 1893. In the picture above are the sisters from Little Sisters of the Poor with LRNPH Asst. General Manager, Pamela Flores during their visit at the factory.

A Safety Environment

La Rose Noire in the Philippines has established a quality safety culture, continuously educating, striving and empowering its employees thru safety awareness seminars and outdoor trainings such as exercise evacuation drills and other safety precautionary measures.

LRNPH is also a member of Clark Safety and Health Organization (CSHO), a non-profit organization, that aims to promote Occupational Health and Safety Standard in compliance with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulation.

In Aug 10, 2018, LRNPH’s team garnered 3rd place and “Best Muse” in the Emergency and Response Team (ERT) Fire Brigade Olympic Competition among companies and locators of Clark Freeport Zone. Part of the competition is the Rescue and Transfer Relay, Fire Extinguishment and Bucket Relay. The company once again excelled in not just producing quality products, but also to its commitment in the safety of its workers.
